Air Lift Company
Product Selector

Project Overview

Air Lift Company manufactures and sells air suspension kits (also called air bags or air springs). As their internal web experience designer I worked with our team to make it easy for consumers to select the product that is best for them, in a way that makes sense to them. Here’s what happened.

The Problem

With too many options given to the consumer they had a difficult time trying to pick which one was right for them. They needed a completely new design and user flow to guide customers to the product that best fit their vehicle and lifestyle with just a few clicks.

The Solution

I worked with our internal team at Air Lift to make a more simple solution to selecting the right product for your vehicle. Instead of just saying, “here’s everything we offer” and hoping customers can figure it out, we wanted to help nudge them in the right direction by asking them a few questions and giving them a personalized recommendation based on their answers.

My Process

The design needed to be simple, with the process and results easy to use and understand. Below is you’ll see a quick overview of the design project from start to finis

The final results

The outcome was a revitalized digital experience for customers searching for the right vehicle application. The new product selector has only been live for a few months, but is already seeing significantly increased engagement and repeat usage. Proof that anytime you are able to reduce or eliminate confusion and decision fatigue for your customers it will be a win.
